IRC at Aberdeen Eights Head 2006
posted by Roy R Sinclair - 23 Jan 2006
Last Saturday's Western Eights Head in Glasgow was unfortunately cancelled
due to spate water conditions on the River Clyde which classified the
course as unsafe to row. The Inverness crew were then quick to focus on
next Saturday's event on the River Dee and conducted training sessions on
the much more favourable rowing waters of the Caledonian Canal in
Inverness.
Two crews will travel to the Aberdeen Eights Head which this year takes
place on Sunday 28th January. Inverness crews will row in the Mens Open
Category in Division 1 which starts at 11.45am and in the Mens Restricted 2
Category in Division 2 which starts at 1pm.
