This weekend from 18th to 20th July, the UK National Rowing Championships take place at the Holme Pierrepoint rowing lake at Nottingham.

Belmaduthy oarsmen Colin Sinclair and his elder brother Alan will compete in single sculling and coxless pairs events respectively. Colin will race on the junior single sculls event whilst Alan will race in the coxless pairs event in a Leander crew with his clubmate Alastair Webb.

Two other former Inverness club members will also race at Nottingham. Clyde ARC member Imogen Walsh, daughter of Inverness Club President Paddy Walsh, will race in the lightweight single sculls whilst Colin Williamson (Leander) will race in the single sculls event in which he won a bronze medal at last year's National Championships.
