Inverness Rowing Club - Events Diary

On Wednesday 29th October, the Club held it's Annual General
Meeting in the clubhouse of Highland Rugby Football Club at which the
following members were elected to serve as office bearers for the next 12
months:-
Roy Sinclair (Hon President), Paddy Walsh (President), Roy Sinclair (Vice
President), Hazel Geddes (Treasurer), Susanne Standish-Hunter, Ken Sinclair,
Neil Wallace, Tom Baker, Mary Clouston and Moritz Bauer (Members of Management
Committee). At this event, President Paddy Walsh presented Dave Rothwell with
the Allan Garraway Single Sculling Trophy. and Moritz Bauer with the Waterson
Trophy to recognise the most improved performance in a club athlete. The
Southwell Stevenson Single Sculling Trophy for participation and performance
was awarded to Colin Sinclair for the fourth year in succession.
This coming weekend on Saturday 1st November sees Colin Sinclair in the stroke
seat Strathclyde University Boat Club's coxed four which
competes in two divisions of the Glasgow Rowing Club's Head
of the River Race on the River Clyde on Saturday.
The following weekend, a large entry is expected for the Morrison Construction
Inverness Head of the Canal Fours and Small Boats Festival of Racing when
clubs from all over Scotland will compete in the fours events on Saturday 8th
November and in the small boats events the following day.
