8 Scottish athletes took part in yesterday's 2nd GB Assessment for Senior & Under 23 athletes in Boston, Lincolnshire. With a number of the Beijing athletes returning to the fold, the standards were higher than the previous October trial. The standout Scottish performance goes to Alan Sinclair of Leander Club (and formerly of Inverness RC / Aberdeen University BC / Aberdeen BC), who continued his excellent performances at GB trials this season, finishing in 12th place overall ahead of some big names such as Colin Smith, stroke of the Beijing silver medal winning 8+.



For your reference, I attach a copy of the full trial results with Scottish athletes highlighted.
