Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships

Next Sunday 1st February, the Scottish Indoor Rowing Championships take place
at Heriot -Watt University at the Riccarton Campus on the western outskirts of
Edinburgh.
A large entry has been received from male and female athletes of all ages
representing schools, rowing and fitness clubs from Glasgow, Edinburgh,
Dundee, Aberdeen, Inverness and the north of England. The competitors will
challenge for medal positions in a wide range of individual, team and adaptive
events.
In a long day of intense competition, the first event for the boys under 11
category starts at 10am with the final event for the mens team category
starting just after 6pm.
Inverness will be represented by the Wells family and a number of students and
teachers from Inverness Royal Academy who have been participating in indoor
rowing sessions at school over the past few months
