In the quarter finals of the Remenham Challenge Cup, Imogen Walsh was in the stroke seat of the Clyde A.R.C. & Edinburgh University BC composite crew which faced up to the might of the American Championship winning eight from Yale University. Giving away almost two stones per person against their American opponents, the Scots crew pushed the opposition all the way but lost out in the fastest time recorded in that day's racing in this event.
