North athletes do well in GB Senior Rowing Trials

In the GB Senior Trials held on the 2012 Olympic rowing course at Dorney Lake
in the Thames Valley last weekend, Inverness and Clyde RC athlete Imogen Walsh
produced an outstanding finishing burst over the final 250 metres of the 2000
metre course to overhaul two opponents in the womens lightweight single sculls
to win the B final of this event. Also taking part in the mens coxless pairs
event was Inverness and Leander Club member Alan Sinclair from the Black Isle
who claimed a highly satisfactory second place in the B final of this event in
company with his clubmate Will Satch. :)
