The Fullers Head of the River Fours race is one of the main rowing events on
the tidal section of the River Thames, raced over the 4 & 1/4 mile
championship course from Mortlake to Putney every November.
This year's race takes place on Sunday morning 14th November when five
crews representing Edinburgh University Boat Club are amongst the 505 crews
registered to compete with the first boat starting at 9.30am.
A good number of experienced Scots athletes are listed in other crews from
Strathclyde Park RC and a variety of other prominent English and Irish clubs
and universities.
