ROGIE FALLS BOAT CLUB - ANNIVERSARY ROW - Friday 11th March 2011

An anniversary row is due to take place on Friday 11th March to celebrate the
efforts of the crew which represented the Rogie Falls Boat Club at Mens
Tideway Eights Head in March 1988.
Taking part in this event which boats at 4.30pm from the Inverness Rowing
Club's boathouse on the Caledonian Canal are the members of the original 1988
crew - Jonathan Wotherspoon, David Finlayson, Iain Leighton, Alex McIver,
Jamie MacLean, Bruce Murdoch, Mark Wilson, Iain Morton (stroke) and Gay
Faulkner (cox).
Following successful completion of their challenge in the Head of the River
Race on the River Thames, several members of this crew became founder members
of Inverness Rowing Club which was formally established at a meeting in April
1988 - :)
