Alan Sinclair has reached the "A final" of the Olympic Regatta in the Men's Coxless Pair with partner Stewart Innes.
A fabulous achievement in it's own right.

The final is scheduled for 13:52 BST Thursday 11th August 2016.
Let me remind you that is just 6 crews competing for 3 medals.

The other boat class we Invernessians were hoping to be supporting was the lightweight women's double sculls, in which Imogen Walsh was a victim of rowing politics and overlooked for a place in the crew.
Sadly they failed to progress beyond the repechage.
A disappointing result which hopefully will not result in a withdrawal of funding for the lightweight athletes such as Imogen.
