During recent performance testing of the GB Rowing's Olympic training squad, Inverness and Munlochy based Olympian Alan Sinclair produced highly significant performances in two separate ergometer tests at the team training centre at Caversham in Berkshire.

In the 5K test on Saturday 1st February, Alan was timed over this distance in a new personal best time followed by another new personal best time in the 2K test seven days later.

These results auger well for his chances of winning a seat in the selection for the GB Olympic team after the forthcoming GB Olympic trials in a few week's time.
